    EdTech and Innovation Integration Specialist

    SET is looking to hire a full-time EdTech and Innovation Integration Specialist / Consultant who has a deep understanding and knowledge base of educational technology. This individual will work with teachers and administrators to develop their educational technology and innovation programs.

    Marketing Intern (Unpaid)

    SET is looking forward to welcoming new interns for the 2018 fiscal year! Interning with SET provides valuable professional experience in management consulting, K-12 education, educational technology (edtech), and innovation. Additionally, it affords the opportunity to work directly with SET leadership and meaningfully contribute to the growth and success of the company.


    As a Marketing Intern (unpaid), you will get to contribute to real marketing strategies and campaigns and conduct pivotal research. The Marketing Intern will apply their skills in marketing and communications to SET’s unique mission and growth strategy. The successful candidate will be enrolled full-time in a major university or college and possess relevant experience and/or education. We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to develop their skill set in social media and content marketing. We are offering a flexible schedule and remote work to accommodate the intern’s academic responsibilities.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Minimum of 8 hours work per week
    • Manage content creation for SET social media accounts, including organizing cross-platform content strategies
    • Develop two new social media campaigns from the ground up, considering our clients’ needs and priorities
    • Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas, and other communications, then capitalize on those trends through our social media accounts
    • Perform market research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable recommendations for expanding their reach into the digital space
    • Develop, capture, and analyze social media data analytics
    • Execute data entry-related tasks and maintain organized files 

     

    Job Skills & Qualifications
     

    Required:

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree majoring (or planning to major) in a related field 
    • Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
    • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
    • Self-motivated 
    • Strong communication 
    • Highly creative 
    • A collaborative mindset
    • A good sense of humor
    • The ability to adapt as needed
    • Innovative and eager to taken on challenges

     

    Preferred:

    • Past internships in marketing
    • Logo and layout design
    • Experience with podcast development
    • Experience with content creation 
    • Portfolio of past projects/campaigns worked on

    Computer Science Educator

    SET is looking to hire an educator who has a deep understanding of and knowledge base for Computer Science. This individual will work with students in a school environment and develop/implement Computer Science courses. This position is full-time.

     

    Job Skills & Qualifications

     

    Candidate must have:

    • A bachelors or masters degree in education or related field

    • 3-5 years of experience as a Computer Science educator or equivalent

    • Knowledge and expertise in Java, C++, and Python

    • A collaborative mindset

    • Great communication skills

    • A good sense of humor

    • The ability to adapt and change

    • Innovative and eager to taken on challenges

     

    The ideal candidate has:

    • Familiarity with trends in educational technology

    • Experience in robotics, the maker movement, and STEAM curricula

    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, photography, videography
